The event blends a little bit of treasure hunting, logic puzzles and cerebral activity, as well as the opportunity to earn more points on some light team building games – so there is literally something for everyone! Teams must navigate through a web of puzzles, codes, and team challenges, all while the clock ticks away! It’s an opportunity to showcase your team’s creativity, wit, and spirit in a race against time. The winning team will win through and earn bragging rights, while all teams will have had an immersive adventure in the venue chosen grounds..
All Manor of Mystery is an intriguing blend of cryptic mobile adventure treasure hunt and rotational team building set in the rooms and grounds of your chosen venue.
As the activity unfolds teams will uncover several challenge zones hidden in the grounds for the teams to overcome in order to gain the next piece of the puzzle (and of course more points). The activity literally unfolds in front of the teams they realise that they can pick and choose elements of the activity to earn points rather than wasting time. By doing this they also have a differing event experience from other teams as self-determination, time management and planning play an important role on the event.
This is an excellent way to make use of a beautiful, historic setting at a hotel or just to get your teams out of the conference room for some fresh air.
With All Manor of Mystery you’re not just participants – you’re the heart of the activity where each twist and turn is a step closer to earning more money. Lateral thinking, time management, and collaboration are must-have skills to overcome the challenges. But remember, it’s not all serious work; laughter and fun activities are guaranteed, ensuring a balanced blend of thought-provoking challenges and light-hearted enjoyment.
Following an initial briefing, teams of eight are issued with their event packs filled with branded challenge booklets, ancient maps and other equipment required. Teams are then free to explore the hotel and it’s grounds, undertake team challenges, capture videos and photos and answer treasure hunt questions as they go…. an immersive activity and great fun!
Outcomes of the All Manor of Mystery Activity
All Manor of Mystery strengthens collaboration and communication by placing teams in a shared mission where success depends on pooling strengths, sharing information quickly, and coordinating decisions under pressure. As they uncover hidden challenge zones and solve puzzles, teams naturally practise clear role allocation, active listening, and supportive problem solving… building trust and a stronger sense of “we” rather than “me.”
Because teams can choose which elements to tackle for points, the activity develops planning, prioritisation, and time management in a realistic, consequence-driven way. Groups learn to assess risks, decide what’s worth pursuing, adapt when plans change, and avoid “wasting time” on low-value actions, skills that translate directly into smarter project management, better delegation, and improved accountability back at work.
Finally, the immersive setting and playful tone create high engagement and positive team energy, which is a powerful outcome in itself. Getting people out of the conference room into a historic environment encourages fresh thinking, boosts morale, and helps teams bond through shared laughter and memorable moments.
