Professionally Facilitated CSR Team Building Events Across the UK and Europe
Beyond the laughs and light competition, the Bee Hotels team building activity helps to strengthen collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Working typically in pairs, your colleagues coordinate tasks, share tools, and make design decisions together to not only build the hotel, but also to decorate it with the various resources available.
After a short introduction, teams receive all the tools and materials required to construct their own functional bee hotel. Suitable for a wide range of mixed groups, the build phase encourages your colleagues to brainstorm, delegate tasks, and adapt to small challenges as they turn a shared vision into an insect-friendly habitat.
Once they have made the hotel, the mood turns playful: paints and craft supplies come out, and they personalise their designs. How long do CSR team building events last?
Most sessions run between 60 and 120 minutes — perfect for slotting into a conference agenda, an away-day, or pairing with one of our indoor or outdoor team building activities to make a full day. Longer formats are available on request.
How many people can take part?
All four CSR events work for groups from 10 up to 200–500 people. For larger groups we scale facilitator numbers and materials accordingly. Let us know your numbers and we’ll design around them.

Yes — every item is delivered exactly as described. Prosthetic hands go to amputees in developing countries. Sleep Pods are collected by the Sleep Pod charity, quality-checked, and distributed free of charge to partner outreach organisations across the UK. Lego kits go to Acorns Children’s Hospice family rooms. Bee Hotels are taken home by your team to install in gardens, balconies or office green spaces.

Organising the Event
Can you bring CSR team building events to our office or venue?
Yes. We’re fully mobile and deliver nationally across the UK. We’ll come to your office, conference hotel or client site, bringing everything required. If you don’t have a venue, our free venue-finding service can source one for you.
What space do we need?
It varies by activity. Sleep Pods work best indoors with around 3m × 2m of space per pair. Bee Hotels, All Hands and Lego With Love only need standard banqueting-style tables. Our team will confirm the exact requirements for your chosen event during planning.
Can we brand the event with our company logo and colours?
Yes — we can add your branding to event collateral, Bee Hotels paint colours, and post-event imagery. Talk to us about your options.
Can we combine a CSR activity with another team building event?
Definitely. CSR events are often paired with one of our indoor team building, outdoor team building or Team Unity Workshop formats to create a full-day experience that balances purpose with celebration.
