The Christmas Cracker invites your colleagues into a fast-paced festive contest that mixes seasonal silliness with genuine teamwork under pressure.
The Christmas Cracker is a hosted Christmas team building game for 20–200 people, run at your venue or in another venue, such as a hotel, across the UK. Teams tackle six quickfire challenges under the watchful eye of our compere and their team of elves, who keep the tempo high, the rules crystal clear, and the laughter rolling. Expect mess, noise and plenty of buzz. The objective is simple – pull together, think fast and rack up the (chocolate) gold coins.
This event is all about having fun together as a team. Quick decisions, creative thinking and genuine collaboration are what separate the winning teams from the rest when the clock is ticking. The rapid pace keeps every guest switched on, ready to build, sing, act or dress up at a moment’s notice.
The format is built to be inclusive, silly and properly competitive. From the off, your guests are split into teams and set loose on a run of festive challenges: building the best snowman from cotton wool, carrots, coal and scarves; answering questions on famous Christmas movie clips; constructing and decorating an edible gingerbread house (extra points to the team that can eat it); battling it out in a Christmas anthems music quiz; and hunting down hidden QR codes around the room for surprise photo missions.
There will be laughter, light-bulb moments, and the chance to spot hidden talents in colleagues you thought you knew. The winning teams aren’t necessarily the most artistic – they’re the ones who pool ideas, agree on a plan, and get stuck in together.
As the Christmas Cracker reaches its climax, the moment everyone’s been dressing up for arrives – the Christmas Parade. Teams decorate one member of their team with props and costumes provided and take to the floor for a final festive catwalk, judged by the whole room.
The whole Christmas Cracker experience is enormous fun. Wrapped in tinsel and chocolate gold coins, it’s a fast, low-pressure way to close out the year together.
